Nobel Night Cap

Client: Nobel Night Cap

Nobel NightCap is the final festivity after the Nobel Banquet and this year the theme was Fairy Tales. The Experience Design Group at Konstfack collaborated with several projects and a book. The book entitled "Journeys of Within and Without", that was coordinated by me, was written by imaginary character of Desiderius Manitius (after Desiderius Erasmus Roterodamus and Aldus Pius Manutius).

This book guided the guests into a magic ride throughout the party and the projects of the Experience Design students. The book was printed both in red and in green and each book had also a red or green filter. By using the filter on top of the text you could read one or the other text. In the party there were also structures with pens, placed in strategic points, where the guest could write in their books and make them unique.

There was also a space version of the book where gigantic messages and quotes from the fairy tales were showed, having small clues to guide the guest. When the light of the space was red you could read the green text and when the light was green you could read the red text.
