Filminho
Client: Morraceira Cultural Association
Filminho - The party of the Galician and Portuguese Cinema , is a film festival that occurs between Portugal and the Spanish State, happening in both sides of the border in Minho region.
The border in Minho region is Minho river, famous for its exquisite gourmet Lamprey. This fish is a parasite and uses his sharp mouth to suck other fish's blood. Being very famous and appreciated in both sides of the border represents cultural connection between the two countries. The lamprey's mouth is strong image for all the population in the Region being very easily recognized. It's use in the logo came as a natural choice.
All the pictures used in the image for the festival where taken in that region, being easily identified for all the population.
The project consisted of posters, flyers, post cards, pins, outdoors, banners and t-shirts. The festival's catalogue was made with my good friend Jorge Miraldo.
