About me

My name is Fernanda Torre and I was born in Portugal in 1983. I studied in the Fine Arts School of Porto University, where I graduated in Communication Design.(5 years degree before Bologna Process)

During my studies I was involved in the students union (President for 3 years) and I other associations with which I still collaborate (like the Portuguese Youth Network for Gender Equality).

In May 2009 I moved to Stockholm to do the Inov-Art program in Gabor Palotai Design (9 months internship).

Currently I am studying Experience Design - Master in Fine Arts in Konstfack, University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm, Sweden.

Awards/Prizes:
1st prize Queima das Fitas 2005, for poster and corporate identity, year 2005.
1st prize II Concurso de Artes Plásticas da Escola Alcaides de Faria, with the work Alguém tem um penso que me empreste?, year 2000.
